Heated up

Yay! We got our heater problem fixed yesterday. It was the breaker, but it turned out we only had a screw loose. The electrician tightened everything up and the heater blew all night without tripping. I celebrated by making a delicious dinner of shake-n-bake chicken. It was yummy!

I wish I could stand leftovers, though. That's another way to help in being financially ahead of the game, but I just could not stomach the thought of bringing shake-n-bake chicken to work to have for lunch. And although I made a tasty egg salad the other night, I like to eat it on toast and that just won't keep very well in the fridge here at work either. (Although, hmm, I just remembered we do have a toaster here too.) So I treated myself to an Egg McMuffin this a.m. (pronounced "Egg a muffin").

I spoke to J. last night too. Her wedding plans are coming along! The wedding will be on Sep. 1 and the reception will be at the swank Rice Hotel downtown. I've been to parties there, it's nice! I urged her to make her Knot page asap.

P.S. Please get well soon, B.B.! I loves yew! My blog has a subtitle because of you!
I should also be in this picture.

I'm so glad you guys got your heater fixed. Mine is still wonky but then again I haven't had anyone look at it. It runs, just not 100% of the time. There is nothing worse than being cold and not being able to warm up!

Can't you force Annika to lie on your feet or something? That cat has GOT to earn her keep!
