Cool news re: Job #1; gratuitous photo

So we had the early morning meeting today (I was only 5 min. late) and they have decided to, as of next week, pull evening hours. So that means I don't have to work 'til 7pm on Thursdays anymore. This is actually welcoming news for me. I am very pleased!

Also we are making some (slow) progress in our court case, even with our lawyer being laid up in the hospital. We have made an appointment with the county's social study office where they come and visit us at our house and see how stable we are, if our home is clean and safe, and if we would make better parents--no contest there in any of that!!! We also made an appt. with the amicus attorney (atty. for the child) to come visit us this Friday night, again so he can see us all interact together as a family and look for the same things that the county office will be looking for. Frankly, I can't wait to show these people how S and I excel both as parents and as highly-functioning human beings--both categories where the whore and dickhead are 100% derelict!!!

International friend note: I'm so glad to hear J&J are safe and sound in Africa! Monkeys playing on your house? Wow. Don't think I'd personally like that--but wow!
