Very Frustrating News

Someone rear-ended our lawyer the other day. Her cousin, my good friend, told me her back was hurt. Well, today our lawyer called me to tell me that it is pretty bad, and she had to go to the ER, and she's gotten 2 MRI's, and she's in a lot of pain and is having a hard time getting to work, and will set up her home office this weekend, and that our enforcement hearing which was to be held next Tuesday will have to be postponed. She also told us that she had to get on the whore's lawyer to by God get that paperwork in for a jury trial if that's what they want so we can get this miserable show on the road someday.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the justice system in our country. If you are involved in a court case, be prepared to sit on your ass and wait a good long time, preferably years. Meanwhile, life as you know it stagnates and you basically have no future b/c you cannot plan for your future. On top of everything, be prepared to fork over lots and lots of $$$ on a periodic basis for the privilege of staying in this sorry-ass pathetic game.

It reminds me of when R. and I went to see Ruben "The Hurricane" Carter speak a few months ago. He took questions at the end, and someone asked him what he thought of the justice system in the U.S. He paused and said something like, it was best not to get involved with the justice system in this country if you could help it. No shit!

So to sum up: No enforcement hearing next Tuesday. The whore gets to enjoy her life and her freedom for a little while longer while we suffer b/c she has not been punished for her crimes. And our trial by judge, which was to be held on Jan. 17-18, will be cancelled until the next jury pool can be summoned, probably a month or 2 from now. And the whore gets to enjoy keeping our baby prisoner, destroying her teeth some more, trashing her precious mind and spirit, and letting a violent, convicted felon share their home. Fucking excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
