Nice visit yesterday

We had a nice visit yesterday from the lady from the county's Domestic Relations Office. She visited with us for a little over an hour and took copious notes. We gave her a tour of our home. (I'm just a little upset that neither she nor the amicus atty. examined the house hard enough to see that I'd spit-shined the base of both toilets, or peeked in to see how tidy S and I keep our big walk-in closet. They both just gave every room a cursory glance. I'd even cleaned the bathroom mirrors and tidied my sock drawer! I guess I fretted for nothing that I hadn't wet-dusted the upstairs window sills.) She was very nice and heard our side of the story. She said she is supposed to visit the whore soon, so I'm glad we got the 1st visit, just like we did with the amicus. Right before she left S lamented how all of his friends, Dickhead, and even S's worthless piece-of-shit mother had warned him not to fight this custody battle, that he would never win being a man. The lady said that on the contrary, being a man no longer guarantees you'll lose anymore, and in fact, for awhile there each and every one of the cases her office was investigating resulted in the father being awarded custody!!! Oh man, that made us feel so good. And I keep reminding S, he's not in this alone anymore. He's got a stellar wife that is going to help him win custody, too!

So since we still had most of the afternoon left after nice county lady left, we decided to go to a movie matinee. We saw Scorcese's The Departed. Man, oh man, the acting! The violence! The under-handedness! Leo! However, afterwards I had some questions that I felt were unanswered, and S and later on the phone my li'l brother, both offered me their own theories.
