I have not slept in my bed for days

S likes to sleep anywhere except our bedroom (I call it the "Marital Bedroom"). He prefers either the baby's room, his recliner, or the couch, probably in that order, too. As much as I protest that I spent hundreds of dollars on our mattress, and in fact, it is the mattress that the athletes slept in on in Olympic Village in 2004, he insists he is more comfortable elsewhere. So last night we slept in the baby's room. We've been sleeping in the living room during the cold snap of earlier this week b/c that room has the best temp. control of the entire house. We alternate between the recliner and the couch, several times during the same night.

I miss my bed! I think I might organize a reunion tonight. Unless it's too cold! S does usually end up joining me there for the last couple of hours of slumber anyway.

S has a probable job interview next week, at least, he's gotten the offer for an interview. There are pros and cons to possibly making a change, as always. I'm going to put it in the Lord's hands! Oh, and I started reading the Bible last night! S told me to begin with the Psalms to help my temper, but then changed his mind and assigned me Job instead.

It was interesting watching Armed & Famous last night (after we watched the Idol, of course). Jack Osbourne was urging someone to go to AA. It made me think of my days in Al-Anon, which really helped me back then. The program truly works! I kind of wish I had time to attend a meeting every now and then, just for touch-ups.
