Cold Snap

Cold cuts, y'all! I eat 'em all night long! Cold cuts, y'all! I eat baloney and cheese! Gimme my cheese, baby...

That's in honor of my beloved (I know, everyone's "my beloved") Albert Collins and the Icebreakers. The Iceman! 'Cuz man, it's coooooooold outside. In the 30's, even. I can't believe I hadda come into work today. Unfair! Plus I guess I'll be working tonight at Job #2 as well.

Right now I'm taking a lunch break and eating chinese food and pizza. Yep, you guessed it--leftovers! S and I had a nice MLK holiday yesterday. We lazed around all morning, then went to see Alpha Dog. I found it extremely disturbing. It was like when I saw Trainspotting. I said, "I don't want to know any of these people." Hey, that Justin Timberlake can actually act.

After the movie, we were already dressed to run since I had the capital idea to go running in drizzly 35-degree weather. I called Tito J. and he was also up for it. No excuses! So we agreed to meet him at the park, and S and I did a lap before Tito J. got there. That was enough for S, who then went to sit in the car. Tito J. and I walked/jogged a couple of laps and S finally got out and joined us for 2 more. Then we went to eat at a Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood that S and I had not yet tried. It was pretty good!

And we had yet another fun weekend with baby. Sat. night we all ate at Star Pizza, and M. joined us. 3 of us Krewe members were there, and we decided we'd be able to do the party this year after all, just low-budget. Sunday, Auntie R. met me and baby at the Chirren's Museum, where much fun activity ensued. Unfortunately, S had to work late so he did not get to go with us to drop the baby off in The Shitslands. When we got there I gave Dickhead the look of one killer to another as I walked around the car to get the baby out. He needs to know that he's going down, and soon.
