Wow, the good really do die young. I love Michael Brecker. I've partied with him, at the University of North Texas where my then-saxophone-playing-boyfriend got to play with him in concert. The jazzers threw a house party w/beer and invited Brecker to come, and he did! That was Brecker's sax solo on one of my favorite Paul Simon songs of all time, "Still Crazy After All These Years."
