Fun Tuesday

I didn't go to work until almost 2pm today and instead, S and I took the baby to storytime at Tito J.'s library (we missed storytime last night b/c when I got off work and went outside to S's car, it had a major flat and S had to come and rescue me with "Fix-A-Flat."). Then we all went to eat lunch together, including Tito J., at the fun Chinese restaurant we all like. We had so much fun playing this a.m. that when I kissed the baby goodbye so that I could finally head into work, she was acting all miserable and said that she was sad b/c I had to go and couldn't come with her and S! Awwwwww!!!

So now I'm at Job#2 and S said the dropoff of baby went fine tonight; Dickhead was there and M. did the job of handing her over to him. In a related court case note, I spoke to our lawyer's cousin (my good friend) tonight and she told me our lawyer was ultimately admitted to the hospital for her pain resulting from her car accident. No wonder she hasn't returned my call from yesterday! This. Sucks. Ass. Not just for us, but I am concerned about counselor and hope she gets well soon. And I refuse to get too upset about all this since there's nothing we can do but sit around and wait some more. We are getting good at it.

I will let all my jobs distract me. Tomorrow I hafta try my darndest to get my booty into work by 8 freakin' 30 a.m. so that my dept. can have a meeting on how we're going to staff the weekends. Well, I hate to say it, but I will probably be unable to help out since I'm either 1. working at Job #2, or 2. taking care of baby. So I just don't know! Lord knows I've done my share of working weekends there though.

I will also let party planning distract me. The Krewe of Alexandria is getting geared up to plan our next Mardi Gras Party, tentatively scheduled for Friday, Feb. 16. Also, I think this year I want to have another Karoake birthday party. I haven't had one in a few years, and I want to make it a joint one for me and S since our b-day's are less than 2 weeks apart! And we'll invite EVERYONE!!!
