More wrestling fun

We had an absolute blast last night. We met my coworker and her 8-yr old grandson perfectly at the pre-arranged meeting place plenty early enough to get to the jive-dive Toyota Center, park, and for the boy to buy some stuff. (I only had a delay of a few minutes getting into the place b/c as always, I had Gus with me and had to get my credentials checked by HPD.) But we had pretty good seats, although not nearly as good as the ones S and I had in Dallas last summer, but still we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I was also happy b/c I was wearing my Rey Mysterio t-shirt and my black leather pants, which have not been worn in a year and amazingly, still fit! (Ok, I did have to undo the button in order to lean over and put my socks on...!) And what a night! All our favorite superstars were there! Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top was in the audience! In short, it was a hoot.

So we found out last night that they're bringing Vengeance back to Houston in June. Everyone looked at me and asked was I going to get tickets so we could do it again. If we want the floor, tickets are going to be about $150 each. But OK, I'll see what I can do! S is totally down, and my coworker already gave me her down payment on tix for her and the boy. They go on sale this Saturday!

I can't believe what a busy week I'm having, and it's only Wednesday. Tonight is my only night off and although I should go running, I need to run errands and just chill. Tomorrow night I gotta work at Job #2 since I missed last night due to the wrestling event, and Sat. I have to work there again so I can be off on the 10th. On top of everything, possibly this weekend I need to fit in some patrol time too but that's gonna be hard since our patrol car was temporarily confiscated for a civil trial currently going on (a bad guy got shot in our back seat before it was our car).

Mardi Gras note: People are rsvp'ing for our party! Yay! I gotta figure out some kind of toga. Here's some pic's from the party in 2005 (I didn't take many pic's last year--too busy being fabulous).
Me, Janel, Karen.

Diane, Laura, future bride JFi, me.
